Weedeater Ticket Give Away

Dixie Dave Collins and his band of misfit stoners known as Weedeater are returning to the Black Cat on Thursday, October 15th! To help you burn outs remember the date (that’s coming up real soon), we’re going to give away a free pair of tickets to one of you lucky DCHM readers! You can enter by either leaving a comment telling me your favorite song by any band playing this show on my Instagram post here OR you can leave a comment on this post as usual, making sure to include an email address so I can contact you if you win. If you want to double your chances of winning you can even enter in both places. Then this Friday, October 9th at 8pm the contest will close and a winner will be selected from all valid entries using Random.org! If the selected winner hasn’t written me back within 24 hours then another winner will be selected. If you can’t wait to see if you win or the contest is already over when you read this, then you can purchase tickets here.

Weedeater produces only the highest quality of fuzzy stoner sludge metal and their live energy cannot be understated. Direct support on the bill is Zeke from Seattle who are closer to the Ramones in sound than the grunge bands of the 90s. Atlanta’s Royal Thunder bring their southern bluesy rock to the stage on this tour as well. And the opening band is Yes Ma’am, a folk band from the streets of NOLA. A killer line up from top to bottom! Now check out the videos of all of these bands below and tell me your favorite song by any band on the bill!
