The excellent instrumental band Russian Circles is coming to the Rock And Roll Hotel this Sunday, December 14th and we’re really excited about this show here at DCHM. So excited that we’ll be giving away a pairs of tickets to this very show! To enter: just leave a comment on this post telling me who your favorite instrumental band is. Maybe it’s Pelican, Animals As Leaders, Conquering Dystopia, Earthless, Set And Setting, locals Black Clouds or another band entirely. At 5pm EST this Friday, December 12th, a winner will be chosen at random (using Random.org) from all valid entries to be given a free pair of tickets to this show. Russian Circles put on a killer performance when they played the Rock & Roll Hotel back in February and you can bet they’ll do the same this time too. While they’re not the most brutal of bands I’ve always had a soft spot for instrumental bands and Russian Circles is one of the best. Also on the bill is Mutoid Man, a stoner band featuring Ben Koller of Converge and Steve Brodsky of Cave In.
